Just please keep in minds tat rotting apples smell like candy for our 4 legged neighbours so plase stay on top of them as they ripen. If you require HELP.. get in touch with the Crowsnest Pass Bear Smaqrt Association and they will come pick them for you!...AT NO CHARGE! They will also come and survey your property for bear attractants and help you manage your gardening, waste management, and fruit bearing vegitation. Open houses are scheduled to provide opportunities for input on how to support tourism in teh Castle Region. Your Comments will help inform the creation of the culturally and ecologically significant part of Alberta:

November 14th - The BRAT PACK presents LITTLE CHEFS! Explore books thorugh cooking with your kids! Borrow a new book each week, and make tasty treats!! REMEMBER to DRESS FOR MESS! The last Little chefs session will take place at the Crowsnest Community LIbrary 10am to 1130am. This is a FREE PROGRAM, registration is required! Novebmer 17th - Show Box Collection day for OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD! Opernation Chirstmas Child, a project of Samaritans Purse, is a simple way for Canadians to help children aged 2 - 14 living in the developing world by packing show boxes with a variety of gifts for chirstmas! Children who receive gift-filled showboxes are often living in situations affected by war, poverty, and natural disaster. A gift-filled shoebox can make an incredible difference in the life of a child.
Shoe boxes can be picked up AND dropped off at the following locations: Copy Magic, Greyhound, Colemna Remedy's RX, Turtle Mountain Pharmacy, Pharmasave, Horace Allen School, More For Less, and the Nippon Institute of Technology.
COLLECTION DATE FOR filled show boxes.. NOVEMBER 17th!

November 17 - 18th - RED CROSS BABYSITTING COURSE - This course will take place at the MDM community entre November 17th and 18th. This is a baby sitting course for kids 11 and up. The cost is $20 per day. To Register call Tracey at 403-563-2208
November 19th - HOLY TRINITY 5th Annual Christmas Tea and Fashion Show. The Holy Trinity Fund Raising Committe proudly presents its 5th Annual Christmas Tea and Fashion Show featuring "A Cowboy Christmas". Come and join in for this fun filled afternoon, Sunday Novebmer 19th at the Holy Trinity Chruch in Blairemore. Doors open at 1230pm, Lunch will be served at 1pm with the fashion show to follow.
TICKETS ARE $20 in advance at Copy Magic or $25/at the door.
Deadline for advanced tickets is November 15th.
November 25th - Pincher Archery Club 2nd Annual TURKEY SHOOT! Registration starts at 9am and the SHOOT starts at 10am. 2 rounds of 30 arrows! It will take place at the PC Arcery Clulb 749 Main Street Pincher Creek. Admission is $10/Adults, $5/Youth(18 and under). Prizes for 1st and 2nd place. December 7th - Christmas Hamper Application Deadline. The Crowsnest Pass Family And Community Support services and the Crowsnest pass Food bank are doing the 2017 Christmas Hamper Campaign. Applications for food hampers are now being accepted at the Food bank in Blairmore. Application deadline is December 7th. If you would like to make a monetary donation to the Christmas Hamper campaign, please make your cheques payable to the Municipality of the Crowsnest Pass. Checkes can be mailed to box 600 blairmore or in person at the Community Services department at the MDM in bleevue.
