May Message from the Crowsnest Conservation WildED - This time of year deer and moose may seek perceived saftey in residential areas to give birth. Dong, even humans, may be treated as potential predators, turning a normally skittish doe or a cow moose into a surprisingly aggressive and protective mama. If you find either new babies or cranky moms near your home, give them LOST OF ROOM and keep pets on a leash for everyone's saftey. Report any aggressive wildlife encounters to the Fish and Wildlife office.
